About Us

Our History

Associated Reporters International was established in 1985 and was later incorporated in 1991. Since then we have provided outstanding court reporting and transcription services for over a hundred thousand court cases. Our regular customers particularly value our ability to handle their reporting, video and transcription needs.

We are located at 125 Wolf Road, Albany, NY with satellite offices all over New York State. We are registered with Central Contract Registration, Dun & Bradstreet, Inc., and WWAF.

Associated Reporters International Inc. is independently owned which enables our staff to be more aware and address all of our clients' individual needs. We have built a reputation for our quality transcript, responsiveness and professionalism.

Our client list for providing court reporting in New York State and transcription services across the United States ranges from independent attorneys, large law firms, arbitrators, hearing officers, State and Federal agencies.

Using Technology

ARII also has the ability to provide video recordings across the United States in various formats. Our clients have and can attend via Skype, WebX, Cameo along with other video conferencing technologies without the expense of traveling. We would be happy to provide references and comments our clients have provided us.

We have conference room space readily available to meet with you and discuss your legal media and court reporting needs. The pictured conference rooms are at our 125 Wolf Rd. Albany location.

Our Team

Judith Spriggs

President

Judith is the CEO and additionally is responsible for contract aquisition and has oversight of production and quality control at ARII.

Jeff Allen

General Manager

Jeff has broad oversight responsibilities, which include development and implementation of procedures for new contracts and financial management.

Tracy Williams

Office Manager

Tracy manages the support staff and oversees all aspects of the day to day operations at ARII, and is primarily focused on customer service.

Hannah Allen

Principal Reporter

Hannah is presently the principal reporter and as such is responsible for training, overseeing and evaluating monitors and reporters.

FAQ

What are your rates?

There are many variable factors that affect our rates that it's impossible to publish a set price list. However, with a few quick questions we can get a better idea of your needs, and give you some concrete pricing.

Are there minimum charges?

Yes. We have a minimum charge of $250.00 when a court reporter is on the job, and for transcription we have a minimum charge of $50.00 per transcript date.

What areas do you cover?

Reporters from our home office cover ALL of New York State including NYC and Long Island. some parts of Canada (Ottawa, Brockville, Montreal, Cornwall), certain areas of Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire such as Burlington, Boston, Hartford. We have remote reporters available that cover all of the United States, and some of Canada.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Do you cover emergency situations?

Yes, we can attend emergency situations either by sending a reporter to your location or attending via speaker phone, video conference, or other electronic means.

What is your standard turn-around time?

Our standard turnaround time is 2 weeks when we cover the proceeding. The standard turnaround time for transcription is based on your individual needs. We can expedite the process when requested.
